Men's Workshop: Christ's Commands

Beyond the Ten Commandments, Jesus Christ taught His disciples a number of things that they were to do as His followers. These same "Commands" are still relevant to all Christ followers today, and we will study and discuss what Jesus said about these in His word. This study will follow a series of lessons by Pastor Steve Schell.

Men are not women. Their needs, wants and desires are light years apart. With that in mind, our Men's Ministry leadership team is constantly striving to create programs and special events to meet the unique needs of men. Our desire is to meet the spiritual and social needs of guys here at ECC.

Saturday, September 11th, 8:00-9:15am - Activity Room, Olympia Campus

Our speaker will be Abe Daniel and he’ll be sharing his life story of how God took him from childhood in India to being manager at J.C. Penney's in Olympia, WA. It's a tremendous story of love, faith and miracles. Come on out for a morning of good food, connecting with other guys and an inspiring message.

Men's Worship Night

Friday, September 24th, 6:45pm - North Auditorium, Olympia Campus

The call has been put out there for us to "ManUP." The first step toward that is for each of us to gather before God in worship, recognizing our need for His mercy and His strength. Toward that end, we would like to encourage all men of ECC to an evening of prayer, testimony, teaching & worship in song. We will begin the night with light snacks & coffee. Scott Sigmon will be giving a relevant and encouraging message. Come and bring a friend!

Evergreen Christian Community ManUP Task Teams

Who We Are: We are Christian Men on Mission. We are teams of men who serve Jesus Christ by answering the call of those with needs but without the means. We are “ManUP Task Teams”, or MUTTs, who are a unique blend of men from various backgrounds who are united to serve Christ.

Who We Serve: Our teams are currently organized to meet targeted areas of expressed needs in our church and our community.

Tech MUTT – Helping with maintaining and using today’s technology including computers, cell phones and televisions.
Home Repair MUTT – Helping those who need assistance with maintaining and repairing things in and around the home.
Finance MUTT – Helping those who need assistance with developing budgets and managing money.
Hauling MUTT – Helping those who need assistance in moving.
Maverick MUTT – Helping with various, and sometimes emergency, requests for manpower.

How We Work: Teams are comprised of a leader, assistant leader and team members. Each team coordinates itself to be ready to meet a request. Requests for help are coordinated by our pastors in collaboration with team leaders. Scheduling is arranged by the leader in collaboration with team members.
