Core Values
We Value:
- God's Word as the final authority and source to guide our conduct.
- Prayer as our constant connection to God and a source for overcoming spiritual conflict.
- Personal transformation through the Holy Spirit as our priority for the development of every believer.
- Authenticity as the consistent application of faith and the way we live.
- Excellence as our approach in all we do and represent.
- Freshness as a vehicle to evaluate ministry, guarding against traditionalism and facilitating relevance.
- Intentional Relationships as our approach to care for and bless people and extend godly influence to those around us.
How We Connect
Community
This occurs in small group ministry. In smaller and more informal settings people are able to connect with a circle of people and to sustain and maintain an ongoing relationship involving CARING, SERVING, and SHARING. Many people will come to know ECC as their church family by being introduced through a friend who is a part of a small group ministry.
Celebration
On Sunday mornings, the church family gathers to celebrate and experience the dynamic relationship we have in community with God. This is the time when the church rejoices together in praise, the preaching of the Bible, worship, and corporate and individual prayer embracing our purpose of LOVING God.
Commitment
Wednesday night is the time for TRAINING - to grow in understanding of what the Bible means for and in our life and to learn and experience the practical applications of a faith journey grounded in Jesus Christ.
